New Connection Request is made for the connection of new buildings to the electricity distribution system. The request can be made by the owner of the dwelling whose connection to the electricity distribution system is requested and real and legal persons who have savings on the specified location. Real or legal persons authorised or given power of attorney by these persons may also request a new connection. In this article, we have discussed the details and procedures related to the New Connection Request processes.
What is a New Connection Request?
New Connection Request can also be defined as the first stage of the process of connecting electricity to the new building. The applicant who makes an electric power request must follow and finalise the transactions and contracts to be made before the energy distribution company personally. If the transactions are carried out by proxy, a notarised power of attorney is required.
How to Make a New Connection Request?
The request for a new electricity subscription to the new building or house is usually made after the completion of construction. An electricity subscription request must be made for the first time for electricity connection in the building. The New Connection Request process for connecting electricity to the new building is basically as follows:
The property owner, tenant or agent makes a personal application request to the distribution company for the connection of the new building to the electricity distribution system.
The energy distribution company evaluates the request and gives a positive or negative response.
Then a Distribution Connection Agreement is made.
Connection fee is paid for the first time electricity subscription.
The first connection fee differs for households and workplaces.
